Pathways Academy is the proud owner of this course and believes its content is much needed. It covers the basic life skills that so many young people have missed out on.

It has just undergone a major overhaul; seven new units have been purpose-written.

New units include money management and simple budgeting, healthy lifestyle choices, healthy boundaries, completing simple forms, and online safety using everyday technology.

This course would be appropriate not only for people with disabilities but for youth who are homeless or who have missed out on formal education for whatever reason. While it includes electives around employment, this course focuses on helping participants work through the basic life skills they need today and into the future.

The 11433NAT Certificate I in Skills for Life supports participants' personal development and offers electives in several areas.  Administration, Horticulture, and Hospitality are just a few of the areas you can explore.
